Welcome!
The Queen's University Department of English is delighted to host an interdisciplinary conference on the topic of animals and animality in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
This two-day conference will bring together scholars and community members from North America and Europe to participate in panels, roundtable discussions, workshops, creative readings and artist talks. As part of our mandate to generate dialogue across disciplines, this conference will also host a connected five day long art exhibit entitled "Just Act Natural," which will be held at Studio22 in Kingston.
This is an open conference and there is no registration or cost to attend.
Please browse this website for more information on conference scheduling, accommodations, directions, and more. Further questions about the conference can be directed to its co-organizers Jaime Denike, Laura McGavin, and Jess Roberts, by emailing jaime.j.s.denike@queensu.ca.
